Lawrence Technological University Fabrication Lab

Southfield, MI

Engineering services for the expansion of the existing fabrication and prototyping labs within LTU’s University Technology and Learning Center. These two maker spaces, which are primarily used for team competitions and senior projects, allow students the capability to design, build, and prototype their own projects and solutions. The fabrication lab features a variety of tools and equipment for production, including spray booth, laser cutter, drill press, sand blaster, lathe, router tables, sanders, and a variety of different types of saws. The adjacent prototyping lab gives students access to 3-dimensional printers and other pieces of technology that allow them to transform their designs into tangible and accurate prototypes more quickly and easily.
